A symbolic shovel for the construction of the concrete batching plant broke the ground on Monday 25.09.2017 in Radzikowice near Nysa. The company is located in the Subzone of Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, although it does not use the relief.
New stationary concrete batching plant of Odra cement factory is expected to be launched early next year. The plant will be able to produce 60 cubic meters of mixtures per hour, and about 80,000 cubics per year. Up to now, Odra Cement Factory have had a factory in Konradowa, near the bypass, with production capacity of more than 30 thousand cubics per hour. The company has the license to operate in Konradowa until the end of this year.
– We have decided to build a stationary concrete batching plant, because we expect that connecting investment areas in Radzikowice (along the Nysa bypass – ed.) will be followed by investors who will need concrete to build their plants – says Marek Mucha, Manager at Concrete Batching Plant of Odra. – And also a lot of investments are conducted in Nysa. There will be about 6-10 new job offers. Odra Batching Plant is a daughter company of the Odra Cement Factory, registered in 2014. So far, the company has launched the batching plant in Opole (in the unused part of limestone mine) and a mobile one at Nysa. In total, it employs a dozen people. Wojciech Bieda is the managing director of the daughter company. The company produces various types of concrete (used i.a. for roads, bridges, architectural, hydrotechnical and watertight and other), mortar and ballast.
